When forming complex work pieces it may be impractical to use either NORMAL or TRAY / BOX mode if correct positioning of the work piece is not possible. In this case FIELD MUTED MODE can be selected. This mode essentially mutes the optical sensing function for the entire stroke. The LZS-003-HS ensures that the tools can only close is slow speed only. The LZS-003-HS also monitors the speed does not exceed 10mm per second.

The operator must confirm the selection of FIELD MUTED MODE and a mute lamp will indicate that the optical sensing function is muted. Selection of this mode can be restricted and requires the entry of a code to activate.
