The LZS-003-HS continuously monitors the mute point position. The system can detect a change to material thickness or tool size that may result in a potentially dangerous wide gap between punch and material. In this case the LZS-003-HS will prevent the tools from closing further and force the mute point to be reset.

Resetting the mute point also reduces unproductive slow speed travel distance.
