New productivity enhancements launched at EuroBLECH 2006

The launch at EuroBLECH 2006 of two new Lazer Safe products was an outstanding success. A high level of interest in the LZS-005 guarding system and combined IMG-100 imaging functionality kept staff extremely busy over the five day period.  Press brake manufacturers queued to view demonstrations of

the much-anticipated new features, including:

  • a greatly reduced mute point distance - this allows the tools to close at high speed until just above the material; and
  • imaging functionality, such as the tool and material recognition features, as well as the bend angle confirmation function.

The new systems were demonstrated at the Lazer Safe stand on a V500 press brake kindly supplied by Trumpf and at the Warcom stand in Hall 16 on their new Futura model press brake.

With the products scheduled for general release in 2007, end users can expect to be ordering new press brakes enhanced with Lazer Safe's new technology by late in the year.

Lazer Safe's PCSS and LZS-004 systems were present on machines of many makes, reinforcing their status as the industry standard in safety, control and guarding products.
